Especially fine quality bisque, complexion, and painting, especially splendid eyes very rare size 0 12” tall perfect cabinet size Jumeau Fashion Poupee kid leather Jumeau Fashion Poupee body. Bisque swivel head on kid-edged bisque shoulder-plate, splendid deep blue glass paperweight inset eyes , dark eyeliner, painted lashes and brows, rose-blushed eyeshadow, shaded nostrils, closed mouth with shaded lips, sculpted pierced ears, with original ear rings, blonde mohair wig over original cork pate, kid poupee body with gusset-jointing at elbows, hips, and knees, stitched and separated fingers.
Clothing: She wears a period costume with undergarments and pantaloons and matching hat. antique black shoes & stockings(stockings have some damage.), I was told that all clothing may be original but I am not sure. Clothing has hooks and eye closures. I did not take the slip off for fear of damaging it.
Condition: Generally excellent, body sturdy, body and limbs show little signs of use. I believe the clothes have been on a long time.Her bisque has no damages, no hairlines or repairs
Marks: head marked 0. The body is unmarked, but I emailed a doll expert and I was told it is a Jumeau.
She is a heart melting beauty with very sweet and gentle expression ready to display and Love !!!
