    Description

    14" Antique Bebe Teteur.  This adorable little doll is a Bebe Teteur from the SFBJ era although the back of the perfect bisque head is incised Bru. Jne 4  23.  I have never seen this model before in 49 years in the doll business so I don't believe they made a lot of them.  It was probably right before they went out of business.
    The original rubber ball is still intact - see photo.
    The blue sleep eyes are in their original plaster set and still retain the original mohair eyelashes.  There is mauve shading over the eyes.
    Original pat and original mohair wig.
    No cracks, chips or hairlines.
    The SFBJ body looks like someone tried to varnish the torso and did a very bad job.  The remainder of the body is in original condition.
    Original chemise/slip and underwear  She also wears a beautiful antique bonnet. Shoes and stockings are antique and could be original.
    This is a very precious and interesting little doll.  I would like to know more about it if anyone has a similar example.
