This is a very rare 1947 Plant Operation Manual for the Nehi Corporation, Columbus Georgia, bottlers of Nehi and Royal Crown, RC Cola, and includes a forward memo, issued from Joseph F. Hale, which details how this manual was to be used and its intended aspirations. This book was to be used as a utilitarian item by the managers of the various facilities throughout the country, and was meant to be used to understand and implement all company policies and procedures related to the bottling of their products, to provide a uniform and quality product to the end customer. This particular manual was salvaged by hand out of the old Royal Crown Bottling Plant, Asheville, NC, on Southside Ave, which was torn down. This book was hiding in a back room crawl space under some cabinets and is quite rare to be in this original complete state, virtually untouched by the ravages of time. It contains a multitude of interesting information, including formulas and ingredients for the syrups, schematics, illustrations of equipment, and much more, a true treasure trove of information for the Nehi and Royal Crown Soda collector.

Each section contains its own table of contents and subsections, there are various pull-outs, diagrams, and tables throughout.
