1981 Gibson flying V has many modifications , see pictures: extra vibrato rout, locking nut,neck to body crack feels solid and stable,lacquer drip by 3 4 and 5th frets, some finish and binding missing,back of neck exposed truss rod,no electronics, ...      Strong points: truss rod bow is good, original tuners with no extra holes,frets are = plenty of life ,original finish on flametop with descent figured maple , see pictures.
