22" Antique French doll by Francois Gaultier circa 1875

Description

Beautiful 22" French Fashion  doll by Francois Gauthier circa 1875  NO damage and No repairs Beautiful blue  glass paperweight  eyes.  Bisque swivel head on bisque shoulder plate. , rose blushed eye shadow, finely feathered eyebrows, delicately painted upper and lower lashes, closed mouth with outlined lips, rosy cheeks, pierced ears, original blond mohair wig and cork pate. Sturdy French kid gusset-jointed fashion body with separately stitched fingers. Marked 7 on the head and F>G on the shoulders.  Dressed as found in lovely plum colored silk taffeta gown with black lace trim.  Trim has a few torn spots and jacket shows age on the inside. . Has  antique 2 piece set of under clothes, hat and boots. The fox stole I added to her.  This is a beautiful antique doll. I purchased this doll from a Denver Antique store and paid over ,000.00 for her.
