Antique Brass 1923 Thomson Alternating Ammeter General Electric; Refinished
Wonderful fully refinished Antique Thomson Alternating Ammeter Made By General Electric. Type P, the last patent date on the ammeter is 1903 but we believe this could be made as late as 1923.  Professionally refinished.  Sold Brass body mounted on a wood base, which is original and inlaid on both sides.  Glass face.  A metal bookend has been attached to the back so that the ammeter can be displayed. This can easily be removed with a screwdriver. Measures 6" tall (not including the bookend) X 6 1/4" wide with a depth of just over 3".  A fantastic display piece and a fine piece of history.
