    1889) Up for your consideration is this Antique Cast-Iron Balcony Incumbance Notice Fire Escape Sign Late 19th century! Very cool piece of history it came from a balcony in Jersey City. Friends of mine were doing the clean out at the location. Definitely show signs of its age and unfortunately it has a break in it to which I repaired with hot glue and it is stable the way it is but if you wanted to take it further I’m sure you could. The sign says notice anyone placing an incumbents on this balcony or stairway will be fined or the objects forming such incumbents will be confiscated. The sign measures approximately 12“ x 4 1/2“ x 1“.Everything indicated in photographs. Thanks for taking a look!
