Antique French Lanternier Limoge Doll Bisque Head Anchor Mark L C Comp. Joint Bd

is a Antique French Lanternier Limoge Doll that is 22" tall.  She is a pretty doll with a Bisque Head with the Anchor Mark with an L C on each side and a C at the bottom of the anchor and the number 4 below that. There are no visible cracks or hairlines on the head. Her hair is Auburn, and her eyes are brown, and does have pieced ears with pearl earrings.  Her dress is an older style of vintage material(and in my opinion done well), and under her dress there are bloomers which are a little older style and panteloons which have a tack in the back as the elastic had stretched.  She has on off white or cream colored stockings(one has a mark on it near the heel area), and white shoes, and one has the bow missing on top. She has an older comp. wood jointed body that does show some age, and is strung well, and does hold a pose. The stand is not included. I believe the body is original to the doll.  I believe the dress maybe original but really not sure of the undergarments or shoes. She one of the very first dolls I acquired over 35 years ago, and I purchased her from a collector in Massachusetts. When I purchased her I did some research on that Anchor mark and found that Limoge made doll heads sometime between 1915 to1924. I was told the body was her original body.  She comes from my personal collection, and from my smoke free home.  I'm am down sizing some of my dolls.  Please if you have any questions e-mail me before bidding.
