Antique French/German D.E.P. Bisque Socket Head BeBe Doll  Blue Sleep Eyes 23 inches
A gorgeous young lady that is the perfect shelf size of 23 inches tall.  These are some of the most
gorgeous antique dolls, made for the French market.  Her sweet bisque head is free of any hairlines,
there is a firing flaw behind one of her ears, a common finding.
She has gorgeous blue working glass
sleep eyes with
lower painted lashes and upper hair lashes with
black liner.  Raised and textured brows.
Accented
eye corners and nostrils.  Heavy blushed cheeks.
Open mouth partially lined lips with upper teeth.
Slight dimpled chin.  Pierced ears with earrings.   Her
sweet head is on a nice antique French fully
jointed body.  All fingers and toes are accounted for.  She
holds a pose nicely.  Unmarked body with
chipping noted to her hands, normal occurrence with the
French bodies.  She is dressed so wonderfully
with an antique white dress with lots of detail.
White undershirt with with pantaloons, socks and vintage
shoes.  Topped with an antique gorgeous
mohair wig.  She was made perfectly for the French market!
These darling's heads were made in
Germany by Simon Halbig for Jumeau, then sent to France to be placed on a
chunky French doll body to be
sold on the French doll market.  She has a look of the Jumeau BeBes. This
sweetheart displays
beautifully and is sure to be one of your favorites! Some call them Jumeau BeBe dolls.
