Description
All bisque jointed, strung body with gorgeous glass eyes. Exquisite reproduction of the French Jumeau Milette doll complete with pale blonde - near platinum) 100% mohair, glass eyes, finely detailed hand-painted face, gorgeous silk taupe dress with decorative dusty rose pink embroidery trim, white lace trim at wrists and a waist cumberbun with a white centered flower in the front and back.
Full silk slip, a sparate undergarment pantaloons, stockings and shoes with ribbon ties. The shoes are plum velveteen with white ribbon ties. The stockings are tan and patterned. This doll has a matching full size bonnet with lace, flowers and embroidery trim. Also included in this ensemble is a matching drawstring purse.
The doll is artist signed and dated on the back of the neck. Comes with the doll stand shown. The quality is breath-taking. A very beautiful doll inspired by the French Jumeau Milettes; EJ Dollin and Arielle IV.
I acquired this at a private estate sale and will be listing over 25 various French and German inspired reproduction dolls.
