ARPA Scandiano Italy W. Schwemmlein West Germany Fire Scene 12" Tile Trivet

Description

Gorgeous 12 1/4" x 6 1/4" framed tile trivet depicting an old German firefighting scene. Based on the markings on the back, I believe this style of this tile/trivet is called "Arpa", made by Scandiano R.E. in Italy, the art was done by W. Schwemmlein GmbH, Bayreuth, West Germany, and this was sold by Carl's Bottles in Prince Frederick, Maryland. I could be wrong with this interpertation of the markings - so please refer to photos. Some scuffs on the back, but no wear to the image.
