    Beautiful French Bisque Mignonette with Swivel Head- size 1- 1880
    Lovely 9" Bisque face with marking on her neck- EB- size 1!
    Hand painted eyebrows, eyelashes and exquisite facial features.
    Closed mouth and original short hair wig glued.
    She was made for the French market, circa 1880, the little dolls were presented at the Parisian Etrennes catalog, at that time as "poupees de poche" meaning pocket dress.
    Pale blue silk and lace dress, her petty coat is stitched tight (see photos). Her hat is magnificently made, adorned with beautiful lace and pale blue ribbon and roses on the back.
    Looks as though she has been restrung but the body is in great shape for the age of the doll.
    Beautifully painted bisque on all original doll.
