pristine and barely used
Curta Type I
high precision mechanical calculator
of finest workmanship
developed by Curt Herzstark
(first pocket calculator)
looking like a small metal pepper mill
or coffee grinder
This Curta Type I calculator with
serial number
51345
was manufactured around august 1962
This fine instrument is
in pristine condition
with only very little signs of use.
It appears to have been barely used.
It is in top working state.
All of the knobs, clearing lever, carriage, operating handle and
all of the other mechanical parts functioning smoothly and lightly.
It operates correctly in every way
even with negative crank turns
,
the ten-carrying mechanism works correctly in every position of the carriage.
I performed the testing procedures outlined on the curta.org website
and everything is how it is expected.
This Curta comes as a complete set like it was sold
in the sixties from curta dealers.
