Description

For sale my used PowerTap G3 wheelset.
Replaced the rear rim with a Velocity A23 and new spokes about 2000 miles ago; stiffer and stronger than the original rims.
Rims support 25c clincher tires and will also do 28c tires they just are not as wide as they could be.

The PowerTap power meter unit works well and sends power, cadence and speed data via ANT+ format.
Shows total power output...combined output of both legs.
Works with any ANT+ receiving head unit on your bike like Garmin and many others as well as ANT+ dongles for use with Zwift and similar programs.
I switched to pedal based power meter and when I had them both up and running the measurements were exceptionally close +/- 5 watts of each other which is attributable to many variables, not necessarily the units themselves. Therefor I am highly confident there is no issue with this unit.
Sale includes: front and rear wheel, PowerTap skewers, special tool to open the battery compartment and a reasonably new battery in the unit and a new packaged battery
