    Description

DeArmond Monkey Stick Pick up Set in Original Box With Paper Work.
This is a complete boxed set of a DeArmond classic archtop guitar pickup with what I'd think is the rarely seen original box, ads and instruction sheets.  Pick up works fine, good volume control, nice long 10 foot cable with plug, real nice tone with my 1960 Gibson Explorer amp, no real wear, cable not dried out or frayed. The felt pads I added myself when I had on a guitar for playing.  Box has wear and is fairly faded as shown but writing and designs still all legible.  One of the super cool instruction sheets has old water staining as shown in pics. Trying to research this set and comparing to the few others around this one almost looks earlier in design, but I don't know and would like to hear from anybody who happens to know about that for sure. I don't see a date on the pick guard tab, which I've seen at least one made in 1949 had, with a "plastic sleeve"? ( though my pickup doesn't have the two "slots" like that one had at top.) Small tab almost looks like there could have been some numbers or letters with an "8" but that could be just wear too?  Note: last two pics of back of pickup show best what that looks like-I took off loose black piece of old cruddy tape I showed in other photo earlier.  Second green felt piece is loose as shown. Will send USPS Priority Mail to USA only. Email with any questions.  Small Arms Trade Toys, Books, Antiques, since 1982.
