If you are looking for the most EXCEPTIONAL EXAMPLE of a novelty FRENCH REGIONAL doll, especially in a smaller CABINET SIZE, you will love this GORGEOUS GIRL who has it all-----she will steal your heart
with her original thick blonde MOHAIR WIG, lovely blue glass SLEEP EYES with original wax,  flawless bisque with beautiful DRAMATIC COLORING and exquisitely modeled FACIAL FEATURES!
Made in France circa 1900, she is dressed from head to toe in her factory original BRITTANY COSTUME
consisting of a fancy black SILK TAFFETA dress with a light pink full apron and celery green silk taffeta fabric around the hem and on the sleeves, with a gorgeous ecru lace trimmed organdy PLEATED COLLAR encircling the neck of the dress!  The green silk also acts as a cummerbund around her waist, and her original lace regional cap is also embellished with matching green silk ribbon ties down the back!  Underneath she wears her original white gauze lace trimmed under slip with matching panties, white cotton ribbed long stockings, and black faux leather slippers, all completely FACTORY ORIGINAL!  The clothes appear to have never been removed from her as they are stitched together, and with the exception of some age foxing to her cotton stockings, all appear in EXCELLENT CONDITION, including the original paper label handwritten "BRITTANY" representing the French provenance her costume represents!
Due to the fact her factory clothes are sewn on and we cannot compromise her original and authentic integrity by removing them, her fully jointed and original composition body appears in EXCELLENT CONDITION, and with the exception of an old repaint to her hands, the rest of her composition has its original PATINA with very minor age wear!
She has her original dark blonde MOHAIR WIG that is thick and soft, fashioned on the back of top of her head, and it still retains its original CARDBOARD PATE with original pate nails! Her mesmerizing BLUE GLASS sleep eyes are of excellent quality with its original and full SABLE LASHES, and note the thick original coating on her WAX LIDS!
She has SUPERB COLORING with beautifully and deeply blushed cheeks, and exquisite features consisting of multi-stroked PAINTED EYEBROWS
and artfully painted upper and lower INDIVIDUAL EYELASHES.  Her endearing little girl's facial modeling includes a very pronounced sweet red and smiling open mouth with completely intact
four original white PORCELAIN TEETH!  Her bisque head is incised on the back in an elliptical shape with the words "UNIS, FRANCE" in the center, and the number "60" underneath with the numbers "71" and "149" incised on each side!  With the exception of a factory line on the back of her head underneath the head rim that was incised in the making and captures her complexion paint but not effecting her looks or value in any way, her bisque otherwise is flawless with no apparent chips, cracks, hairlines or restorations!
