    Description

Société Francaise de Fabracation de Bébés et Jouets
Absolutely darling, 13 1/5"  antique bisque sockethead lady doll (c.1922) in her original, provincial costume (complete but without cap). She has a wood and composition,
fully jointed, French body with extra joints at her wrists and knees
(all original paint finish) and is incised on the back of her head:
    SFBJ/PARIS 60 in an oval
    beneath her
    original, thick wig and pate
    and #4 at the socket
. She has an open mouth with row of pretty teeth and lovely
    blue glass, sleep eyes
with finely painted upper and lower eyelashes, (one eyelid needs a touch of pink added) rosy cheek blush and blond eyebrows to match her honey brown, golden hair which is in the original set. She wears all her finely detailed, original provincial costume of pink silk and gold lace trimmed, long black, velveteen  dress, gold lace embroidered bodice and sleeves, pink silk apron and wonderful, antique undies, lace trimmed petticoat, original white lace socks and original white leatherette shoes. She is just as she came from the factory and has no damages or repairs, no fading or stains and no odors as she is from a smoke free home (some paint chips on her hands, no finger chips, some intricate lace has splits to be mended, requires a doll stand). She is the same model as,
    "Bleuette",
(two inches larger) and will make a fabulous addition to your antique doll collection. (Loc. merry)
Her French doll friends in last few photos are NOT included and will each be listed separately.
