Hydraulic Mining - Gold Run, CA on C.P.R.R. - Original CA Mining Stereoview!
Identified original mining and railroad stereoview. Shows an active hydraulic mining scene. Identified by hand “Hydraulic Mining Gold Run, C.P.R.R. Cal.” Gold run was a former mining town in Placer County, California. This was perhaps a scene along the Central Pacific Railroad.
Sides of view are marked “American and Foreign Views, Sold only by canvassers,” and “New Educational Series, Stereoscopic views.”
View has some very light stains, one corner bumped, very minor creasing. Overall excellent. See high-resolution scans.
