Large Antique French Fashion Doll, Unusual Face

Description

Offered for sale is a 20 1/2 inch French Fashion Doll. The bisque face is unusual with blue paper weight eyes. The painting of the features is beautifully done. It has pierced ears. The neck swivels in a bisque shoulder plate. The doll has an all leather body with gussets at the elbows, hips, and knees. It has separated fingers and stitched toes. The doll has no clothing, shoes, nor wig. It has a cork pate.
The bisque head has two hair lines from the back top of the head down to the neck socket. There is a very small eye fleck to the lower lid of the left eye.  The body is very firm with no leaking of sawdust. The tip of one finger has rust stain. (see photos) The body has over all soiling.
