    Description

This is for a PHOTOCOPY of the original 1930s pattern to make these Marionettes: Clown, Little Boy, Beautiful Dancer, Dogcatcher (in his uniform). The pattern includes the dolls' bodies, costumes and all the information for stringing and working the marionettes. The pattern also includes directions for a marionette play which includes an additional character of an Old Lady, who is made from a head draped with a shawl. From the original, "The problem of keeping small youngsters contented when bad weather keeps them indoors isn't a simple one for even the most ingenious mother. Marionettes will provide almost endless entertainment for lively children."  To give you an idea of size, the clown measures 24" tall when complete. Please email me with any questions that you have.
