New Oak Stereoscope Slide to hold the Stereograph (view/card)

This item is a new oak stereoview slide holder/adjuster for holding the views on your stereoscope. I have collected stereoscopes for over 35 years and have noticed many of them for sale, and being sold without the view holder. Trying to view stereographs without the slide holder/adjuster is not very handy and a new slide would also increase the value of your stereoscope. I have made some for myself over the years and decided to use the tooling I made to put some on eBay. Originally I intended to stain them in different shades, but noticed that there are so many different colors out there that they seldom match, so I decided to list some unstained so the buyer can match their stereoscope more closely. Just remove the two small screws holding the brass tensioner, stain, then re-install the tensioner, screws and wire view holders. I will probably have listings later with stained view holders if bidders let me know that is what they would like. The wire view holders will be in a separate zip lock bag to reduce shipping cost and can easily be inserted in the pre-drilled holes. Thanks for considering my items and good luck bidding on them.
