PAIR sweet antique SFBJ Paris dolls glass eyes, Bretonne costumes (needs 1 hand)

Description

Here is a charming PAIR of originally dressed, fully jointed, 9 1/4" and 8 1/2" tall, cabinet size, French dolls, circa 1920s. Girl is marked
on the back of her sockethead:

(under wig and very hard to read)
She has a swivel neck and joints at her shoulders and hips. She has lovely antique brown inset glass eyes, pretty closed mouth, matching nicely painted eyebrows and pretty cheek blush as well as her original long, blonde human hair wig in thick braid beneath her provincial, lace covered,
French ribbon rosette
trimmed headdress. She wears her complete original, Bretonne  provincial costume including long sleeved, black cotton gown with gold metallic trim with attached long pleated, satin apron with gold trim and very fine antique lace trim to match the wide collar around her neck and shoulders, lace jabot beneath and long stiff buckram petticoat and panties, darling long black stockings and black leatherette shoes with flat soles and black velvet ribbon around her neck. She is in excellent condition
except that
one of her hands is missin
g at the wrist (broken off long ago).
Her slightly smaller brother is manufactured the same way with blue glass eyes and brown wig and complete original matching costume and painted shoes (slightly flattened nose). They have no cracks or chips, no hairlines, no repairs, no tears or holes and no fading or odors as are from a smoke free home. Dolls in last two photos are NOT included and each listed separately.
