Unassembled crystal radio kit in a PIRATE TREASURE CHEST - RRRRRRR !!

Build your own crystal radio in a wooden Pirate Treasure Chest! This is really cool! Basic crystal radio set you assemble in a wooden treasure chest. Case is nicely constructed, with metal clasp and hinges. You have to drill holes as necessary, and make a cut-out for the tuning capacitor, to construct the radio. The wood is soft pine, and easy to work with. The tuning capacitor can easily be hot glued in place. Comes with all components and hardware necessary, simple instructions, and 25 feet of indoor antenna wire. Although soldering is recommended to connect parts, you can just twist the wires and components together, if you choose to do so.
Kit includes a
metal
, pirate skull and cross bones tuning knob! Knob has a pre-drilled hole for mounting screw.
We are also including a transistor (and associated components and perfboard), you can add to the circuit, which will greatly increase the performance of the radio!
Case measures 4-5/8 x 2-3/8 x 3-1/8 inches. Transistor circuit requires one AA battery (not included).
