FF Griffi Cassis Corsica Terracotta Hand Painted 9" Bowls Lot of 4.
The listing is for a set of 4 F.F. Griffi Corsica Terraghja French pottery bowls
made and hand painted on the French Mediterranean Island of Corsica. Each bowl is approximately 9"
wide at top, 4-1/4" at bottom and 2-1/2" tall.
Unusual and beautiful!! These would
make lovely pasta or salad bowls.
These are rare beautiful pieces from the Corsica collection is a handmade art pottery piece from the sunny French region of Provence. The design features vivid hand painted colors and a very glossy glaze in golden tones over red clay. Perfect for table use or display. All Sud and Co. Corsica pieces are completely handmade and hand painted by local artists following a long tradition of pottery-making so no two will look exactly alike. Sud and Co, now Pastis & Co, ceased operation in 2009. This one of a kind Terra Cotta stoneware from Provence, France is rare and will continue to appreciate in value. Cassis en Provence is hand painted.
There are no use/wear marks on the inside and not any noticeable marks on the bottom. There are no chips or cracks, it does have consistent crazing.
