Slide bar is made of walnut and comes stained. Walnut is typically found on Keystone stereoscopes. Also comes with a protective polycrylic coat. DIMENSIONS:
Card Carrier
can be used on any scope with a standard slide bar stem of
1 3/16 inch wide
and that takes a 7" wide stereo card. Cut-out underneath carrier is about 1 1/4 inch wide which will result in 1/8 inch necessary side to side play on stem. Includes thumb-piece and card pins.
Slide bar is a replica made to original scale, such as gauge of card-pin wire, distance between pins, size and type of wood. Made of stainless steel, the thumb-piece is slightly heavier than the original thus more enduring.
SLIDE BAR COMES UNASSEMBLED:
Buyer must attach thumb-piece (adjustable) with provided screws in
pre-drilled
holes and insert card holder pins. Item will arrive in a padded yellow envelope.
