"Gold Dots" - Woman's Summer Haori Jacket
Easy to wear summer jacket that can be dressed up or down. Black lacy weave with gold accents dotting the design. Two fabric ties can close the jacket if you prefer. It's a light weight cover up for your shoulders on a chilly evening.
Layering is so important for kimono-wearing - even in the hot and humid days of summer in Japan. Vintage summer haori typically have an open weave that allows cooling air to flow between the layers, and often have a design woven on the back.
These light weight haori jackets are great to throw on when you want something over your shoulders as you move from the summer heat into an air conditioned restaurant, theater, or office. They're also modest cover ups at the beach or poolside. Even though they tend to be dark colors, the open weave is really cooling. We like them over a little black dress for a night on the town.
