    This is the largest size coin minted by Austria for its territory in Western Europe known as the Austrian Netherlands, which consisted of most of present day Holland, Belgium and Luxembourg. It's a beautiful silver coin larger than a U.S. Dollar and weighing 29.5 grams.
    When this coin was issued, Austria was the seat of the Hapsburg Empire which was ruled by the Holy Roman Emperor Francis I and his consort Maria Theresa.  His name and his various titles including King of Lorraine appear on the coin.
    Very lovely design in exceptional condition - not one scratch, ding, dent or gouge, just very light even circulation wear.
    No other full Kronenthaler (Crown Taler or Dollar) found on Ebay, let alone in this condition.
