Vintage 1950s Hilger Polarimeter polarized light meter spectroscope Jarrell Ash
Cast iron Hilger Standard Polarimeter circa 1952, made in England. Comes from a 'mad scientist' who recently passed away. I have not tested this and it does not have the transformer pack. Judging from the home where it was found, it was actually in working use at one point although I noticed a small wire on the coil has come loose so this may need TLC and or additional parts to function. Sold as parts or repair, so no returns please. Aside from that it does not show any signs of significant damage. It is approximately 30" long, sits 14" tall and weighs a massive 42 pounds.
