Vintage Brasil 23-074 Hand Forged Bolo Wood Handle 19 1/2" Machete

This was purchased from a late old timers estate who live on Leech Lake in Northern Minnesota. He was an avid hunter and fisherman.

The blade shows some use and age but is still extremely sharp. The blade edge measures 14.5" and the total length of the machete is 19.5".
Widest part of the blade is 2 3/4".
The wood handle has a different brown color on each side. His wife told me that sometimes he put different handles on some of his knives so he may have done that with this one. The blade is solid to the handle. If you shake this, you can hear one of the rivets rattle but again, the blade is solid to the handle.
