You are bidding on an vintage WWII replica machete marked 1943 SWI. They show up in Cole's book but they ARE NOT REAL WWII issues, these machetes were made by Ontario Knife Company for Shreck Wholesale Industries in the 1970's. They are not World War Two issue machetes. This one show use and some dark spots and pitting, It is 23 inches long from which the blade is 19 inches. Canvas sheath. See all the pictures bellow.
