    Description

    This is a wonderful set of Navajo dolls, made by a woman in the likeness of herself and all the older Navajo women she has known. They are dressed in traditional Navajo clothing (see photos).  Nice set for a collection or on a shelf of their own. The man doll measures 6 3/4" tall. Both of the dolls have decorated fabric legs - the man a green print, and the woman flowered. Perfect set for a collection with rich cultural history and very skilled artistry. It always impresses me when a set stays together for a long while - these were made around 70 years ago.
