This is a PHOTOCOPY of a Vintage mail order pattern to make a Ballerina Doll. This pattern includes both the cloth doll and her ballet costume consisting of the dress, panties and slippers with wrap around ribbons (like pointe shoes). The doll is constructed with several darts in her both her head and torso to create a more lifelike shape. Her arms are movable and her legs are stitched onto the torso. Her face is embroidered on (or you could use fabric paint). The Ballerina Doll measures 20" tall when finished. Her dress opens in the back and the skirt is decorated with sequins and beads. The pattern also includes panties and ballet slippers that come on and off. This pattern is well illustrated with 31 step by step instructions. I include a black and white copy of the instructions and the complete pattern. I make sure that the instructions are clear and easy to read.
